A late Georgian 18ct gold ivory cameo necklace. Comprising eleven graduated oval and circular-shape glazed panels, with another forming the clasp, each carved to depict an aspect of love, to include cupid riding turbulent waters, and the Genius of Light, to triple-strand belcher-link swag spacers. Length 44cms. Weight 54.1gms. With early 20th century fitted case.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>One strand of chain partially deficient.
<li>Central panel ivory carving not fixed, currently loose within setting.
<li>Some panels with dirt inside.
<li>Clasp fairly weak, may require attention.
<li>Clasp panel casing easily removed, may require attention.
<li>Ivory carvings set atop a black panel back, possibly bog oak or ebony.
<li>Ivory carvings in good condition. Some with patches of discolouration.
<li>Some glue and dirt visible.
<li>Black panel backs in good to fair condition with small chips to edges and visible graining.<p>
