Lot Description
CHANEL - a vintage 80s briefcase. Crafted from soft black lambskin leather with maker's signature diamond quilted detailing to the front and back, with gold-tone hardware, a reinforced leather top handle with leather clochette and key, a large rear slip pocket, front envelope flap closure with engraved press-lock fastening and black leather lining. Measuring 5 by 28 by 38cms.

Condition Report
Bag in fair condition overall for its age. The quilted leather exterior has minor scuff marks and indentation marks and there are two deep creases which run along the fold of the flap closure. The central metal clasp is very heavily scratched from use, some of the coating has worn off and it is also tarnished. The interior is clean with scattered light scratches and there are two minor tears on both sides of the case where the flap closure meets the sides. Serial number: 0645096, circa 1986-1988. Without maker's dust bag. Condition reports are offered as a guide only and we highly recommend inspecting any lot to satisfy yourself as to its condition.
