ROLEX - a gentleman's Oyster Perpetual Explorer wrist watch. Circa 1958. Stainless steel case. Reference 5504, serial 371398. Signed automatic calibre 1530. Black dial with baton hour markers, Arabic numeral three, six and nine. Fitted to an unsigned tan leather strap with stainless steel pin buckle. 36mm. <li>Movement is currently functioning.
<li>Movement is worn with some surface rust and noticeable scratches and marks visible to the naked eye.
<li>Dial appears to be in a generally good condition with no marks visible when viewed under a 4x loupe. Dial appears to be after market replacement. This is not a Rolex dial, it has been set by a third party.
<li>Hands show marks and tarnishing when viewed under a x4 loupe.
<li>Glass has scratches and marks.
<li>Case shows scratches, marks and dints.
<li>Crown screws down and has scratches and marks.
<li>Strap shows wear with visible marks, creasing and discolouration.
<li>Buckle shows noticeable marks and scratches.<p>
<p>This lot does not come with box or papers.<p>
