An early Victorian gold, garnet and chrysoberyl brooch. Designed as a vari-cut garnet and cushion-shape yellow chrysoberyl foliate engraved undulating ribbon, suspending tassels. Length 7.3cms. Weight 17.1gms. With fitted case.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Brooch pin base metal.
<li>Chrysoberyl are in a closed back setting, presumed foil back.
<li>Chrysoberyl are well matched, light, greenish yellow hue.
<li>Chrysoberyl in good condition with minor nibbles and nicks.
<li>Garnets are a fairly well matched, slightly pinkish purple, well saturated.
<li>Garnets in good condition. One with minor nibbles to the girdle.<p>
