An 18ct gold opal and diamond cluster ring. The oval opal cabochon, with single-cut diamond surround and tapered shoulders. Estimated dimensions of opal 15.9 by 11.1 by 3.6mms. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct. Hallmarks for London, 1977. Ring size N1/2. Weight 7.2gms.

<li>Overall condition good to fair. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Would recommend attention to all settings as some claws deficient/worn.

<li>Diamonds well matched.
<li>Diamonds fairly bright.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Diamonds with scattered inclusions, some dark, few with nicks to the surfaces.
<li>Opal translucent, with fair play of colour, predominantly green and blue hues. Good to fair condition with abrasion and some small deeper scratches.<p>
