Lot Description
An early Georgian gold and silver, emerald, diamond and enamel ring. The square-shape emerald, with rose-cut diamond quatrefoil and scroll surround, to the white enamel reverse and shoulders. Approximate ring size J. Weight 5.9gms.

Condition Report
<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Band shows evidence of repair/ resize.
<li>Probable replacement gems.
<li>Diamonds fairly well matched, slightly varied in size.
<li>Diamonds bright.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate weight estimation and colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Diamonds appear foil-back.
<li>Emerald is a medium green hue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Emerald in poor condition with large chip to one side and minor abrasions.
<li>Shoulder enamel in poor condition with significant wear and chips. Ring head reverse enamel in good condition with minor abrasions and nicks.<p>
<li>Length of ring head 1.3cms.
