An early 20th century opal and diamond ring. The graduated oval opal cabochon line, with rose-cut diamond double spacers and scrolling gallery. Ring size M. Weight 4gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Mount shows evidence of repair beneath central opal, soft solder marks visible.
<li>Band shows evidence of resizing, indistinct stamp, some deeper scratches.
<li>Diamonds well matched and fairly bright.<p>
<li>Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.<p>
<li>Cut and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents total carat weight, colour or clarity estimation.
<li>Diamonds have moderate, small dark scattered inclusions.
<li>Opals are translucent with good play of colour, flashes in a range of hues, predominantly greens and oranges.
<li>Opals in good to fair condition with surface abrasion.<p>
<li>Estimated dimensions of largest opal 7.2 by 6 by 2.3mms.
