Lot Description
An early 20th century 9ct gold combination vesta case and sovereign holder. The oblong case, with hinged vesta case and sovereign holder compartments, suspended from a replacement loop surmount. Maker's marks for W. Coulthard & Co. Hallmarks for Chester, 1913. Length 8.4cms. Weight 35.7gms.

<li>Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/ wear and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>A few localised scratches and one small dent.
<li>Surmount loop and press release appear to be later replacements, possibly base metal.
<li>Press release slightly stiff.
<li>Stamped 375.
<li>Length stated includes surmount loop.
