A mid 19th century gold 'faux montre' locket. Of circular outline, the black enamel case, with scrolling foliate highlights, opening to reveal a vacant panel. Length 5.3cms. Weight 19.3gms.

<li>Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Black enamel is in fair condition with some abrasion, nibbles and small chips particularly near to the edges.<p>
<li>Chipped enamel showing a stronger variation in colour hue, possibly restored.
