A mid Victorian garnet brooch. Designed as a floral engraved bow, suspending a similarly-engraved heart, each with garnet cabochon highlight. Length 4cms. Weight 9gms.

<li>Garnets in closed back setting, presumed foil back.

<li>Garnets are a well matched, vivid red, well saturated, with good clarity.

<li>Garnets in good condition with minor abrasion.<p>

<li>Estimated dimensions of oval-shape garnet 10 by 7mms. Unable to assess depth due to setting.
