An early 19th century gold, diamond and amethyst watch key. The pear-shape and rose-cut diamond cluster, with circular-shape amethyst reverse and textured floral mount. Principal diamond estimated weight 0.40ct, I-J colour, VS clarity. Length 3.8cms. Weight 7.4gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Diamonds fairly well matched, varied in shape and size.
<li>Diamonds bright.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate weight estimation and colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Rose-cut diamonds with some small dark inclusions.
<li>Amethyst in good condition with minor abrasions, appears foil-back. Some discolouration within setting.<p>
