A late Georgian gold portrait ring. Of marquise-shape outline, painted to depict a lady, with pearl and floral accent hair, earrings and choker, to the bead surround and bright-cut shoulders. Approximate ring size R. Weight 7gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Band slightly out of shape. Pitting at shoulders.
<li>Engraved with initials 'J.B.' to reverse of ring head.
<li>Portrait in good condition with some discolouration to the edges.<p>
<li>Glazed panel in good to fair condition with some scuffs and minor scratches.
<li>Length of ring head 3cms.
