An 18ct gold opal triplet and diamond ring. The freeform opal triplet cabochon, with brilliant-cut diamond surround, openwork scrolling gallery and single-cut diamond line shoulders. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Hallmarks for Birmingham, 1976. Ring size W. Weight 8.7gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some scratches, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Diamonds moderately bright and well matched.
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Opal triplet with significant abrasion to the glass, the reverse panel is cracked and the glue is lifting.
<li>Opal triplet shows good play of colour, predominantly in the blue and green ranges.
<li>Length of ring head 2.5cms.
