An opal and ruby necklace. Of abstract design, comprising bi-colour geometric panels, with oval opal and circular star ruby cabochon highlights. Length 50cms. Weight 30.7gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Discoloration to panels.
<li>Star rubies, with fair asterism.
<li>Rubies are well matched, medium pinkish red, in good condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the surfaces.<p>
<li>Opal with good play of colour, flashes in a range of hues, in fair condition, with small surface scratches to front and significant chips and scratches to reverse.
