SPEAKE-MARIN - a limited edition gentleman's 'Rum' wrist watch. 1 out of 49. Titanium Piccadilly case with exhibition case back, engraved with "Stand Fast The Holy Ghost". Numbered SMTIV0182. Automatic hybrid Vaucher calibre 3002 with single hand time indication. White dial with Roman numeral hour markers, 1780 Harewood Rum capsule placed exactly at eleven o'clock. Fitted to a signed blue-grey alligator strap with titanium double folding clasp. 42mm. Box and papers.
The Speake-Marin limited edition gentleman's titanium 'Rum' watch contains a capsule on the 11 hour mark containing 1780 Harewood Rum, certified by the Guinness Book of Records as the world's oldest rum. In 2011, bottles of the prestigious rum were found in an old cellar in the Harewood Estate near Leeds - which had been left untouched for hundreds of years. Wealth Solutions then acquired the rum, before beginning the Rum Watch project with innovative watchmaking brand Speake-Marin. They decided to design only 49 timepieces containing the Barbados distilled rum, making this watch incredibly rare and desirable.
