Lot Description
A late Victorian silver and gold, diamond and pearl brooch. Designed as an old-cut diamond pansy, with graduated pearl and old-cut diamond wreath and bow surround. Estimated total diamond weight 1.75 to 2cts, principal diamonds estimated H-I colour, SI clarity. Length 3.2cms. Weight 7.9gms. With fitted Goldsmiths & Silversmiths case. Pearls untested.

<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear and discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Diamonds well matched and bright.<p>
<li>Principal diamonds assessed within the limitations of the setting, grades may differ.
<li>Non-principal diamonds too small to accurately assess colour and clarity.
<li>Diamonds have few, minor, small scattered inclusions.
<li>Cultured pearls are a fairly well matched, silver to creamy-white colour, with rose and greenish overtones.
<li>Pearls in good condition with some small, typical surface blemishes and minor wear to the nacre.<p>
<li>Pearls measure 5.6 to 3.5mms.
