An early 20th century gold amethyst and diamond brooch.

<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear and slight discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Brooch pin base metal.

<li>Slight discolouration to reverse.

<li>Diamonds well matched and bright.<p>

<li>Estimated total diamond weight under 0.10ct.<p>

<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>

<li>Diamonds have few, minor, scattered inclusions.

<li>Amethysts are fairly well matched, slightly pinkish purple hue. Slight variation in tone. Some with colour zoning.  

<li>Amethysts in good condition. One with some nibbles to the girdle.<p>

<li>Estimated dimensions of each amethyst approximately 7.7 by 7.7 by 5mms.

<li>With fixed posts for pierced ears.<p>

<li>Width (at widest) 39mms.
