A mid Victorian gold plated banded agate locket. The oval banded agate cabochon collet, with circular banded agate cabochon surround, suspended from a similarly-set tapered surmount. Length 6cms.

<li>Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/wear, slight discolouration and small dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Some replacement gems.
<li>Glue can be seen to one onyx.
<li>Two onyxes chipped.
<li>Remaining onyx in good condition with minor abrasion.<p>
<li>Estimated dimensions of principal agate 32 by 26 by 18.5mms.
<li>Glazed panel in good condition with minor abrasion.
<li>Width (at widest) 38mms.
