An early 19th century 9ct gold mounted meerschaum brooch. Carved to depict a tavern scene of men seated on barrels, eating and drinking, together with a dog. Length 5.4cms. Total weight 23.9gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches and wear in keeping with general age and use.
<li>Claws to the mount are likely later additions, slight soft solder visible.
<li>Meerschaum is a whitish hue, areas of the dog and slight areas towards the base are coloured a light brown.
<li>Small scuffs and few deeper scratches around the edges of the panel.
<li>Weight 23.9gms.
