Lot Description
A 19th century silver and gold zircon and diamond cluster ring. The cushion-shape brown zircon, with old-cut diamond surround, to the tapered grooved band. Zircon weight 8.48cts. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct. Ring size O1/2. Weight 9.9gms.

<li>Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>The ring has been converted from another jewellery.
<li>Small pitting marks to mount.
<li>Replacement band.
<li>Diamonds well matched and bright.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
<li>Diamonds have mostly small, scattered inclusions, few larger surface reaching feathers.
<li>Four diamonds chipped.
<li>Two diamonds have a noticeable brown tint. <li><p>
<li>Zircon is in a closed back setting, presumed foil back.
<li>Zircon is a fairly dark to medium slightly orangey-brown, well saturated, with good clarity.
<li>Zircon in good condition.<p>
<li>Estimated dimensions of Zircon 13.3 by 7.8mms. Unable to assess depth due to setting.
