A pair of mid 20th century ruby and diamond earrings. Each designed as a pear-shape and brilliant-cut diamond fringe, suspended from a graduated circular-shape ruby crescent and baguette and brilliant-cut diamond scrolls. Total ruby weight 3.60cts. Estimated total diamond weight 3.60 to 4cts. Length 3.3cms. Weight 12.2gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Diamonds well matched and bright.<p>
<li>Principal diamonds assessed within the limitations of the setting, grades may differ.
<li>Principal diamond estimated total weight 1.20cts, G-J colour, VS clarity. One appears to draw less colour.
<li>Principal diamonds have no obvious inclusions under x10.
<li>Principal diamonds are pear-shape with moderate bow tie effect.
<li>Individual size and setting of non principal diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Non principal diamonds have few, minor small inclusions visible under 10x.
<li>Rubies slightly vary in hue, most appear a deep, slightly purplish red hue, variation in tone, and level of inclusions.
<li>Rubies in good condition with some abrasion.<p>
<li>With clip fittings for non-pierced ears.<p>
<li>Width (at widest) 1.8cms.
