Lot Description
A pair of mid Victorian gold emerald and split pearl earrings. Each designed as a rectangular-shape emerald and split pearl accent textured knot, suspended from a similarly-shaped emerald spacer and bead surmount. Length 3.8cms. Weight 5.9gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Replace surmount and fittings.
<li>Noticeable wear to several claws. One claw deficient.
<li>Emeralds are foil back and appear a well matched, slightly bluish green hue. Fairly profuse inclusions, some surface reaching.
<li>Emeralds in good condition with small nicks.
<li>Split peals are a well matched, creamy-white colour, with rose and greenish overtones.
<li>Split pearls in good condition.<p>
<li>With fixed posts for pierced ears.<p>
<li>Replacement earring fittings.
