An early 20th century gold gem-set pendant. Designed as a coiled ivory snake, with emerald eyes and circular and oval-shape sapphires, inset between rose-cut diamond accent gold scale detail, suspended from a rose-cut diamond loop surmount and black velvet ribbon. Length 6.3cms. Weight 26.7gms.

<li>Overall condition good to fair. Surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Ivory is cracked near the tip of the tail, discoloured, with few further small fissures and minor general abrasion.
