An early 20th century 18ct gold sapphire and diamond five-stone ring. Designed as an alternating cushion-shape sapphire and old-cut diamond line, with tapered shoulders. Maker's mark for S Blanckensee & Son Ltd. Estimated total diamond weight 0.40ct, H-I colour, SI clarity. Ring size N1/2. Weight 2.4gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Diamonds well matched.
<li>Diamonds with light and dark scattered inclusions, and a few small nibbles to the girdle.
<li>Sapphires are a medium deep blue hue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Stones in fair condition with some abrasion and minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges. Smaller sapphires with several small chips to girdle.<p>
