A 1970s 18ct gold opal and ruby ring. The oval opal cabochon, with scattered circular-shape ruby and bead surround, raised to the textured shoulders. Maker's marks for David Robert Tucker. Estimated dimensions of opal 19 by 14.5mms. Hallmarks for London, 1971. Ring size Q1/2. Weight 14.4gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Opal has a white body colour, with good play of colour displaying a range of hues.<p>

<li>Rubies fairly well matched, slightly varied in hue and saturation.
<li>Rubies in good condition with minor abrasions.
