A mid 20th century diamond and sapphire floral brooch. Designed as a circular-shape sapphire and old-cut diamond cluster, with overlapping petal surround and similarly-cut diamond highlights. Estimated total diamond weight 3.50cts, I-J colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Diameter 5cms. Weight 23.6gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Diamonds well matched and bright.<p>
<li>Diamonds assessed within the limitations of the setting, grades may differ.
<li>Diamonds have moderate, small light and dark scattered inclusions, some eye visible.
<li>Sapphires are a well matched, deep, slightly violetish blue hue.
<li>Sapphires in good condition with minor nibbles.<p>
<li>Diameter of a sapphire 4.5mms. Unable to assess depth due to setting.
