Lot Description
Two 1970s 18ct gold ruby, sapphire and diamond rings. Each designed as two square-shape panels, forming a chevron, the first set with a rectangular-shape ruby, the second set with a circular-shape sapphire and brilliant-cut diamonds, atop a textured panel. Maker's marks for David Robert Tucker. Estimated total diamond weight 0.15ct. Hallmarks for London, 1970. Weight 10.2gms.

<li>Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/wear and small dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>One band with slightly misshapen shoulders.
<li>One band shows evidence of resize.
<li>Diamonds well matched and bright.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.
<li>Diamonds have few, minor scattered inclusions.<p>
<li>Sapphire is a deep, violetish blue hue, well saturated.
<li>Sapphire in good condition with minor nibbles to the girdle and facet edges.
<li>Ruby is a deep medium, purplish red hue, well saturated.
<li>Ruby in good to fair condition with surface reaching fractures.
<li>Ruby chipped with surface reaching inclusions. <p>
<li>Width (at widest) 5.4 and 5.6mms.
