Lot Description
A 1970s 9ct gold, seed and cultured pearl necklace. Designed as a seed pearl and fancy-link tassel, with textured cap, to the vari-size cultured pearl strand with similarly-textured cylindrical spacers. Hallmarks for London, 1973. Length of tassel 9cms. Length of necklace 90cms. Total weight 92gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Cultured pearls are a creamy white colour, with rose and greenish overtones, good lustre.
<li>Cultured pearls are in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>
<li>Seed pearls are well matched, good lustre, in good condition.
<li>Without the aid of laboratory equipment, it has not been possible to determine if these cultured pearls are from a fresh or saltwater source.
<li>With safety clasp.<p>
<li>Stamped 375.
