A mid Victorian gold coral brooch. The coral carved to depict Bacchus putting his hand to Cupid's shoulder, with grapevine openwork surround and coral fringe. May be worn as a pendant. Length 8.5cms. Weight 29.3gms.

<li>Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/wear slight discolouration in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Metal recently cleaned to a high finish.
<li>Replacement fittings.
<li>Glue visible to one coral drop. with small chip to top.
<li>Coral cavity with glue to Cupid's legs and bow.
<li>Width (at widest) 51mms.
<li>May be worn as a pendant. Hinged tapered surmount to reverse.
<li>Length as pendant 9.1cms.
<li>Corals are a well matched, slightly mottled medium orangey pink colour, with minor polyp holes.
