An early 19th century amethyst cross brooch. Designed as an oval-shape amethyst, with pear-shape amethyst surround and spacers, to the cannetille sides. Length 5.6cms. Weight 15.9gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches and small dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Alterations visible to the reverse. Recently cleaned to a high finish.
<li>Amethysdt are in closed back settings, presumed foil back.
<li>Amethyst appear a fairly well matched pinkish purple hue. Varied, mostly small inclusions.
