An early 20th century 15ct gold opal and demantoid garnet necklace.

<li>Overall condition very good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Opals are well matched, with good play of colour, displaying a range of hues.<p>

<li>Demantoid garnets are a medium yellowish green hue, well saturated, with good clarity. Most appear vibrant with one appearing slightly more yellowy. Some surface reaching inclusions.

<li>Demantoids in mostly good condition with minor abrasion, one with shallow chip to crown facets.<p>

<li>Stamped 15ct to clasp.

<li>Length of gem-set section 11.1cms.
