A late Victorian gold, split pearl and diamond brooch. The split pearl and old and rose-cut diamond ray star, to the knife-edge bar with similarly-set terminal. Estimated total old-cut diamond weight 0.30ct. Length 4.3cms. Weight 6.1gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>One side slightly bent.
<li>Some damage to the reverse side of one of the points.
<li>Diamonds well matched.
<li>Diamonds bright.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of rose-cut diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Diamonds with some small scatter inclusions under 10x magnification.
<li>Split pearls are a creamy white colour, with rose and greenish overtones.<p>
<li>Stones in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>
