Lot Description
A sapphire and diamond bracelet. Designed as an alternating circular-shape sapphire and old-cut diamond collet line, with crossover bar surrounds and bead line spacers. Estimated total diamond weight 0.30ct. Length 17.5cms. Weight 19.8gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Minor surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Evidence of repair work/ alterations.
<li>Comprising components of various dates.
<li>Later engraving to clasp with the dates '1947-67'.
<li>Diamonds well matched.
<li>Diamonds bright.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Diamonds with few minor inclusions under 10x magnification.
<li>Sapphires are a fairly well matched medium blue to very slightly greenish blue hue, well saturated, with good to fair clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Sapphires in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>
<li>Stamped 15ct.
<li>Clasp with French assay marks for 9ct gold.
<li>Links and bead spacers electrically test as 15ct gold.
<li>Width 1.1cms.
<li>Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
