ROLEX - an exceedingly rare gentleman's wrist watch. Circa 1920's. Reference 1178, serial 01777....

<li>Movement is currently functioning.

<li>Movement has scratches, marks and tarnishing commensurate with general wear visible to the naked eye.

<li>Dial appears to be in a poor condition with noticeable marks, scratches, tarnishing, some lifting of the laminate. Dial also appears to be discoloured with obvious dark stain visible between 3 and 4. Pitting can be seen on dial under a 4 x loupe.

<li>Hands show noticeable tarnishing, discolouration and signs of rust. Paint on subsidiary seconds dial almost completely flaked off.

<li>Glass has noticeable scratches and marks.  

<li>Case shows significant scratching, obvious marking, some dents are present and some of the plating has lifted. Heavy tarnishing covering majority of case. Case back does not appear to fit on properly.

<li>Crown has scratches and marks with wear to the plating.

<li>Strap shows wear with visible marks, creasing and discolouration.

<li>Buckle shows marks and scratches when viewed under a 4x loupe.<p>
