An open face pocket watch by J. Hayward. 18ct yellow gold case, hallmarked London 1865. Numbered 10219. Signed key wind three quarter plate movement with ratchet tooth lever escapement. White dial with Roman numeral hour markers, subsidiary seconds dial to six. 45mm. 64gms.
