An early 20th century 18ct gold and platinum, Sri Lankan sapphire and diamond three-stone ring. The oval-shape sapphire, with old-cut diamond sides. Verbal from GCS, stating Sri Lanka, no heat. Estimated dimensions of sapphire 7 by 6.4 by 5.6mms. Estimated total diamond weight 1.85cts, H-J colour, SI2-P1 clarity. Ring size L. Weight 3.4gms.

<li>Overall condition good to fair. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Band shows evidence of resizing.
<li>Diamonds well matched.
<li>Diamonds bright.<p>
<li>Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>One diamond with small surface reaching feather inclusion to one side of the table. One diamond with moderate dark inclusion to one side.
<li>Sapphire is a deep, medium violet blue hue, well saturated, with good clarity and typical inclusions.<p>
<li>Sapphire in good condition with some light abrasions to facets and facet edges.<p>
<li>Stamped 18ct PT, partially indistinct.
