An early 20th century platinum and gold, sapphire five-stone ring. The graduated cushion-shape sapphire line, with openwork gallery. Verbal from GCS, stating basaltic, no heat. Estimated dimensions of largest sapphire 6.6 by 5 by 3.6mms. Ring size U. Weight 2.7gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches/ wear, discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Band has been resized, slight dents.
<li>Piece has been rhodium plated at some stage.
<li>Some claws slightly dented, show wear.
<li>Sapphires are a well matched, deep medium, fairly vibrant blue hue.
<li>Estimated dimensions of smaller sapphire 4.4 by 4 by 2.4mms.
<li>Moderate abrasion, few small chips.
