An early to mid Victorian garnet and diamond ring. The heart-shape garnet cabochon collet, with rose-cut diamond scrolling foliate surround and floral engraved reverse, to the later band. Ring size T. Weight 3.7gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some surface scratches and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Band and gallery are a later replacement.
<li>Diamonds well matched.
<li>Cut, individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate weight, colour and clarity assessment.<p>
<li>Garnet is in a closed back setting, presumed foil back and appears a slightly orangey, purplish red hue.
<li>Garnet has significant surface abrasion.
<li>Estimated dimensions of ring head 1.5 by 1.3mms.
