A mid 19th century colonial Australian 18ct gold and seed pearl brooch, depicting a kangaroo and emu amongst foliage.

<li>Overall condition fair to good.
<li>Traces of mounts suggest seed pearls deficient to three of the largest flowers in the central cluster.
<li>Largest flower with petal tips deficient.
<li>One seed pearl cracked, appears stable.
<li>Pin is base metal.
