A mid 20th century predominantly Burmese ruby and vari-cut diamond scroll brooch.
With report 80260-16, dated 19th March 2020, from GCS, stating 42 Burma, no heat.
Estimated total diamond weight 3.75cts, G-H colour, VS-SI1 clarity.
Length 7.2cms. 29.9gms.

<li>Overall condition good.
<li>Diamonds bright and well matched. One smaller brilliant-cut diamond appears worse colour and clarity than surrounding diamonds.

<li>Two rubies are Thai, heated. One ruby is synthetic.
<li>Rubies are a fairly well matched moderately pinkish red hue. Variation in tone and saturation. Varied levels of inclusions.
<li>Few rubies with small chips near the claws.
