A late 19th century silver gilt amethyst cross necklace. Swedish marks. Length 37cms. 48.9gms.

<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches/wear in keeping with general age and wear.

<li>Stamped 830, S, U6, with maker's mark BH.

<li>Amethysts are a well matched light, medium violet purple hue, fairly well saturated, with good clarity and some typical inclusions.<p>

<li>Amethyst in good condition with few minor abrasions.<p>

<li>Calculated weight of largest amethyst 9.33cts, based on estimated dimensions of 15.6 by 12.9 by 8.3mms.

<li>Length of cross 4cms. Length of pendant section (top of central amethyst to base of the cross) 5.5cms.
