An early to mid 19th century silver and gold, garnet and old-cut diamond cluster brooch.

Estimated total diamond weight 1.50cts, predominantly G-I colour, VS2-SI1 clarity.
Length 2.5cms. 7.5gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. Some moderate wear and dents to the reverse. No obvious damage when worn.

<li>Garnet likely a replacement. Fittings to reverse likely later added.

<li>Diamonds estimated predominantly G-I colour, VS2-SI1 clarity. Few diamonds appear below I colour or SI1 clarity. Some with light abrasions to facet edges.

<li>Garnet appears foil-back. Garnet appears a deep slightly purplish red hue, well saturated, with some typical inclusions.

<li>Garnet in good condition with minor abrasions.<p>

<li>Width 1.9cms.
