A late 19th century gold amethyst and diamond brooch, with enamel Egyptian pharaoh inlay.

Length 3.4cms. 21.2gms.

<li>Overall condition fair to good. General light to moderate marks and wear in keeping with age.

<li>Some nicks and abrasions to the enamel.

<li>Diamonds are rose-cut. Diamonds appear fairly bight and lively, with some typical nicks and abrasions. One diamond deficient to the pharaoh.

<li>Amethyst in good condition with minor abrasions. Small cavity to one side of he crown.<p>

<li>Amethyst is a deep slightly violet purple hue, well saturated, with some typical inclusions.
