Lot Description

A late Victorian silver and gold, old-cut diamond bee brooch, with ruby eyes.

Estimated total old-cut diamond weight 4 to 4.50cts, predominantly G-I colour, VS2-SI2 clarity.
Length 5cms. 10.9gms.

<li>Overall condition good. General light marks, wear and discolouration, in keeping with age.

<li>Diamonds generally appear well matched, bright and lively. Some appear P1 clarity. Some smaller diamonds are rose-cuts.

<li>Diamonds appear in good condition, some with minor nicks and abrasions typical of cut and age.

<li>Rubies are a fairly deep pinkish red hue well saturated. In good condition, with minor abrasions.

<li>Width 2.9cms.
