A late Victorian 15ct gold old-cut diamond bracelet, the diamond section convertible to a brooch.
Estimated total diamond weight 2cts, H-I colour, VS-SI clarity.
Inner diameter of bangle 5.8cms. Length of brooch 3.9cms. 15.2gms.
With James Crichton & Co. Edinburgh fitted case.

<li>Overall condition good. General slight wear.
<li>Safety chain unhooks to one side.
<li>Diamonds bright and fairly well matched. Few of the smaller diamonds appear slightly worse clarity.
<li>Principal diamond estimated 0.45ct, H-I colour, VS clarity.
<li>Bracelet with personal engraving to the inside 'C.H.C. to A.N.C. 15. OCTOBER 1890'.
<li>Bangle electronically tests as approximately 15ct gold. Diamond mounts electronically test as silver and approximately 9ct gold. Brooch mount electronically tests as approximately 9ct gold.
<li>Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
