A late Victorian silver and gold, split pearl and old-cut diamond double heart ring.
Estimated total diamond weight 0.65ct, H-J colour, predominantly SI clarity.

<li>Overall condition good. General light to moderate marks, wear and discolouration ion keeping with age.
<li>Band appears to be a replacement.
<li>Diamonds appear bright. Some possibly VS or P1 clarity.<p>
<li>Split pearls are a slightly greyish colour, with some rose and greenish overtones. fairly good lustre.
<li>Split pearls appear in good condition.
<li>Band stamped 18, with French re-strike marks 9/14ct gold and silver. Band tests as approximately 13 to 14ct gold.
<li>Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns. |
