A late 19th century gold enamel, split pearl and rose-cut diamond fob watch, depicting a young Poseidon riding a dolphin.
Length 6.5cms. 25.5gms.

<li>Overall condition good to fair. General moderate marks and wear in keeping with age.
<li>Some fine cracks to the dial. Dent to the inner dust case.
<li>Some soft solder visible to the reverse of the shell top section, possible repair work.
<li>Numbered 852 to the inside.
<li>Some light scratches and abrasions to the enamel
<li>Diamonds well matched.
<li>Diamonds generally appear bright and lively.<p>
<li>Split pearls generally appear in good condition, some with light nacre damage and abrasions. Set with a cultured pearl to the centre of the shell, with some light nacre damage.
<lI>Diameter of dial 2cms.
<li>Movement appears to be ticking.
