A pair of 1940s 18ct gold calibré-cut ruby and old-cut diamond foliate earrings.
Estimated total diamond weight 0.45ct, G-I colour, VS2-P1 clarity.

<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches, slight discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Diamonds appear bright and well matched. Graded within the limitations of the mount.
<li>Rubies are a well matched deep slightly purplish red hue.
<li>Fittings are posts attached to a hinged clip, currently for pierced ears.
