A mid 20th century pink sapphire, blue sapphire and diamond bird brooch, signed Marchak.

<li>Overall condition good. Moderate marks and wear to the metal.

<li>Signed Marchak.

<li>Diamonds estimated predominantly G-I colour, predominantly VS-SI clarity, few possibly P1 clarity. One larger diamond to the left appears yellow. Untested for natural colour origin.

<li>Diamonds bright and lively.<p>

<li>Pink sapphires are a well matched medium reddish pink hue, well saturated, generally with good clarity and some typical inclsuions.

<li>Blue sapphires are a fairly deep, slightly violet blue to greenish blue hue, fairly well to well saturated, with good clarity and sopme typical inclusions. One sapphire towards to the right side appears green.  

<li>Ssapphires appear in good condition with no obvious chips or damage and few minor abrasions. Some with small nicks or natural cavities.<p>
