An early to mid 19th century gold aquamarine, diamond and emerald cannetille brooch.
Aquamarine weight 10.62cts.
Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct, H-I colour, VS2-SI1 clarity.

<li>Overall condition good. Some surface scratches, slight discolouration and minor dents in keeping with general age and wear.
<li>Diamonds well matched.
<li>Emeralds are a well matched deep medium slightly bluish green hue.
<li>Aquamarine is a medium light very slightly bluish green hue. Abrasion to facet edges.
<li>Electronically tests as approximately 21ct gold, gilt finish probably interfering with result.
<li>Fellows uses a Thermo Scientific Nitron Handheld XRF Analyser to test metals. This technology is limited to examining metal to a depth of approximately 8 microns.
